This is my life

I'm Sara. I'm 26. I married my best friend in 2008, when I was 20 and he was 17. We have 2 beautiful daughters. Alexis is 3, born on October 9, 2010 and Harmony on November 16, 2013, as well as an Angel baby in Heaven. I am a stay at home mom who likes cloth diapers, finding good deals, cooking and this crazy life I have been blessed with!

I love it when pinterest make up tip actually is what it says. Saw a suggestion of a lipstick to get and I LOVE it! Rimmel’s Kate Moss line color 080 is the perfect natural color for me. I love it, so glad a bought it. And a plus, it’s only $4.99!

Very impressed with her first bubble bath!!

Got my car back. It ended up being $300 more than originally quoted because of the other part that was broken. Sucks but at least I have fully functioning breaks!

Brian finished welding school yesterday! Hopefully he can get his certification soon and get a raise!

Also, every time I see Frozen things in stores I but them. Last time I got tattoos and today I got sheets of stickers as well as a tumbler with lid and straw that has Elsa, Anna and Olaf on it. The tattoos and stickers will go great in goodie bags for Lexi’s birthday and the cup is a birthday present too. She was rotten in the store so there was no way I would have given it to her today!

My husband had the honor to preach tonight to some awesome students at youth camp from the youth group where he pastored for 3 years! I was so encouraged, challenged and moved by his message and I just love him and appreciate his heart for God! I’m so grateful for a husband who provides such sound spiritual guidance for our family!

So my in laws are in contract to buy a new house, should everything go as planned they will be moving in Oct. She just offered me their 5 month old red leather sectional couch (For FREE) because it won’t fit in their new living room! I want it so bad!!! It has a giant ottoman too. But it’s red, and Brian isn’t a fan of red :-( hopefully he can suck it up and be okay with it.

Oh my goodness stop being so busy!!

Took my car to get diagnosed, needed new front breaks. My passenger front break was metal to metal hence the awful noise coming from them. Found out how much it cost and since it wasn’t too much said go ahead with it (while I have both kids with me). I had snacks, coloring books and my kindle charged with games and a few downloaded episodes of The Fresh Beat Band so we were set for a bit. The kids were wonderful. Then they came out and said one more thing was broken and they couldn’t get it in until tomorrow so they were giving me a minivan at no extra charge. Super impressed with the service and care and I’m digging the minivan.

This big girl is 9 months old! (as of Saturday)

She loves mommy, all day every day, her milkies, anything with noodles and playing with her big sister.

She is not a fan of diaper changes, riding in the car or strangers.

She just learned to wave when we say hi and wave at her, she can climb stairs (while being followed) and is starting to stand independently for short periods of time!

Watching Ratatouille with Lexi while Harmony naps and I fold laundry.

I was supposed to take my car to get diagnosed this morning but seriously have no desire ever to sit in a waiting room at a mechanic with both of my kids so my poor husband will just have to suck it up and do it after work.

Hopefully it’s nothing serious but it has been making some awful noises and I’m pretty sure the breaks are almost shot! Ugh! I cannot afford this right now! And I need new tires and an oil change asap! Not cool since I have a bridal shower to throw in September, Lexi’s birthday in October, Harmony’s Birthday in November then the Holidays. I’m praying Brian finishes welding school soon so he can get that raise and things will look up again!

Nothing like the baby waking up AND the 3 year old walking in to ruin the mood! Haha making married life work with kids is hard sometimes but it gives us some good laughs! Lexi said “what is all this rackin’ (racket) in here, Harmony’s bein’ so loud so I can’t sleep!” She keeps us laughing for sure!
